Update [2005-3-12 18:4:59 by Armando]: From the diaries (also Recommended) by Armando. No endorsement (or non-endorsement) of a boycott, but the story is a big one.

The New York Times has just posted a very long, detailed expose of the pervasive use by the Bush administration of covert propoganda, and the necessary complicity of television media outlets and their so-called journalists across the country. The article, "News or Public Relations? For Bush It's a Blur," by David Barstow and Robin Stein, may be accessed here:

It is time that we held those privileged to amass wealth and influence at the expense of the American public's right to know accountable through a substantive grassroots initiative. Since we know that the collective Achille's heel of the corporate press is its terror that money might be lost....Sinclair, anyone?

Update [2005-3-13 12:14:5 by Armando]: Correcting formatting. This Update is from bibble

SUNDAY MARCH 13 AM: Mysteriously, in the night, the title of the NYT article changes. It goes from the rather bold and specific: "News or Public Relations? For Bush It's a Blur" to "Under Bush, A New Age of Prepackaged Television News." Guess someone thought the first title was too much for our accountability, personal responsibility POTUS.
